Better Smile Foundation welcomes professor Dr. Eleftherios G. Kaklamanos to its scientific committee

The Better Smile Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of Professor Dr. Eleftherios G. Kaklamanos to its Scientific Committee. A distinguished leader in orthodontics, Dr. Kaklamanos brings a wealth of experience, academic rigor, and clinical excellence to our mission of promoting preventive dental health across communities.

About Dr. Eleftherios G. Kaklamanos
Eleftherios G. Kaklamanos is an Associate Professor of Preventive Dentistry, Periodontology, and Implant Biology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an Associate Professor of Orthodontics at the European University Cyprus. He also holds the position of Adjunct Associate Professor at the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences in the United Arab Emirates.

He graduated from the School of Dentistry at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he completed his specialization in Preventive and Social Dentistry, followed by Orthodontics. He earned a PhD from the Medical School of the same university. His academic background is further enriched by postgraduate studies in Health Unit Management and a specialization in Digital Education.

He is the President of the Orthodontic Society of Greece and the European Federation of Orthodontics, and serves as the Regional Chair for Europe of the World Federation of Orthodontists. He is also actively involved in other international scientific organizations, such as the American Association of Orthodontists. He has served as General Secretary and Treasurer of the Hellenic Society of Preventive Dentistry. In addition, he is the Editor-in-Chief of the scientific journal Hellenic Orthodontic Review and a reviewer for well-known international journals.

He has supervised dozens of postgraduate theses and has published approximately 100 scientific studies in Greek and international journals, as well as chapters in books on Orthodontics and Periodontology. His scientific activity includes a strong presence at international and national conferences, symposia, and working groups. He has been honored with scholarships and awards from academic and scientific institutions in Greece and abroad.
